We like Wyndham. We have had a lot of success with the Microtel brand. This left a lot to be desired. It was not up to Wyndham standards. Wyndham should be embarrassed by the fact that the Microtel name is being used here. First, the positive: The bed was really comfortable. After that not so positive. This appears to be a work in progress, a conversion from something else to a Wyndham Microtel. Rooms have been reconstructed. Not necessarily well. Rooms have been painted, but not the bathroom. The tub/showers need updating. Badly. This might turn out fine. For now, it is surrounded by better options. The real damage? I will never again have any confidence level in choosing a Wyndham Microtel. That isn't a good thing. For anyone.
We thoroughly checked the sheets, mattresses, and bathroom and saw no bugs or trace of bugs. Everything seemed fairly clean and staff was very helpful. I've read other reviews about seeing roaches. We saw zero. There were some beetles that snuck in from the backdoor that so look similar to a roach, but they weren't.
Overall, I would stay again. One of the cheapest rooms in the area. We never tried the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. I just was aware they did have one though.
We had a 2 queen bed, pet friendly room. The room was very clean. The hallway rugs need updating there were several raveled spots. And no elevators. Breakfast was all packaged products which worked great since we were running behind. The staff at night and in the morning were very friendly. Overall good place to stay.
if I could give this less stars I would. Not only did I find stains all over the beds in the first room we were given there were roaches in the bathroom. when I tried to call down to complain we found the phone in working with white stuff all over it. I finally got to the front desk and got a new room we were sent ACROSS THE HALL to another room. The man showing us the room tried to say we had something to do with the roaches I quickly assured him that was not the case. the next room the shower was broken like the head wouldn't come on. by this point I didn't want to deal with being blamed so I left it alone thinking a sink bath would be just as good, nope couldn't let the water out of it. This hotel could do a lot better, this was just the big stuff there was a lot of other things I could mention. but heyy stay at ur own risk
Not too bad. Check-in was super easy and trouble free. The ladies at the desk were inviting and very nice. Room was roomy and very clean. Didn't explore too much past the room so I'm guessing the rest of the amenities were on point too.
We stayed a week here to visit some family nearby. I booked it before reading reviews so we were a little nervous reading some of the reviews afterward. It really wasn't that bad at all.
