My wife and I furnished our entire home over the last year from here. The salespeople were very friendly and had us laughing the whole time. Delivery guys pointed out some damages and by the weekend they had a new one out to us! One of the managers even called after our delivery checking up on the newer items after the first dresser was damaged. I'm not entirely sure why there are so many bad reviews at least with our experience over the last year we've been Furnishing our home they were nothing but nice and friendly with constant feedback from the store about our delivery. We even received a thank you card from the younger woman that works there. All we have left to buy is our theater chairs and I know where I'm going to buy them next!!
I will NEVER make another purchase from Badcock. They have the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service. The salesperson Aaliyah was great when it came to helping get the order together and made sure my wife and I got everything we needed, but after the sale was completed she acted like she could careless if anything went wrong. Well guess what, EVERYTHING went wrong! I placed my order a month before it was delivered so they would have AMPLE time to get everything in order. The day before delivery I called and got the run around regarding what time the guys would be there to deliver. I was transferred 3 times back and forth only to be told they don't know what time they would be there. I also received a call to let me know 1 of my chests was damaged and they would offer 30% off if I still wanted to keep it. I asked what the final price would be, I was placed on hold for 30 minutes only to be told "Aaliyah said her computer just went down, so she's not able to tell you how much it would be". How hard is it to do SIMPLE math?! I asked them how much it was before the 30% and did the math for them. On delivery day the "slightly" damaged chest looked like they grabbed it off the trash pile. I wouldn't have paid $2 for it. They delivered the wrong mirror to go with the dresser (it didn't even look like it matched the furniture), the dresser was cracked on the back, the base to the dining table was broken, and my ottoman was left at the store (which Aaliyah didn't seem to care much about it being left). Here's the fun part: I called the store and spoke to the manager WILLIAM. Obviously I am LIVID at this point and he tells me they will bring out the display table base from the floor. Obviously, anyone would expect some type of compensation for a display item that other people have been sitting at and propped their feet on. WILLIAM rudely answered there is no compensation. After that I told him I am sending EVERY item back and hung up. He decides to call me back and say he'll do 10%, but that's all. I guess since I was a young customer they expected me to be a fool. WILLIAM then stated he didn't understand why I wouldn't accept that and keep my order. I asked if he would like me to say it in another language and WILLIAM decided it would be a good idea to call me RACIST. I never knew I could be racist over the phone if I have never laid my eyes on you to know what your race is. Needless to say I went somewhere else to spend my money and came out with NOTHING broken or damaged.
TERRIBLE customer service!!! Do NOT purchase anything here! You will regret it! Purchased living room furniture and a month later it was still not delivered. They brought mix matching pieces that didn't even go together, claimed they called me 3 times to try to deliver new furniture which was a flat out lie. Then on top of all of that, won't give me back all of my money, charged me $99 delivery fee for bringing the wrong stuff!! The manager is the worse excuse of a manager I have ever seen! Terrible attitude!! BEWARE!!!
My experience was very disappointing "My daughter and I, was ignored and never asked if we needed help. At that time We were ready to spend money " cash "We felt very unwelcome and discriminated . We went to "Furniture Liquidators.."They were happy to wait on Us, happy to serve Us . Not to mention paying for everything in cash...We vowed not to shop there ever again!!Badcocks Furniture Store That Is.
I know this was a long review, but I want to warn EVERYONE about this place so they don't have the same experience. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere that appreciates you.
I'd love the chance to shop and look at the products before being hounded by a sales person. It's worse than a car lot here! I can't really speak to quality of products because it was hard to focus on description/details when they follow you everywhere in the store. Unsure if the employees think I'm trying to steal the furniture, strapping it to my back and carrying it out the front door! Seemed to be a well-lit store.
