Awesome people doing great services for the animals they treat! They really care about the animals and have affordable prices.
You can tell they love animals, pricing is very affordable. They are not going to serve you a warm cup of cappuccino but that's fine by me. This is the best vet in the area for sure.
I’m giving 2 stars and it’s only for the help they do in their no kill shelter. Their clinic is not clean and the Veterinarian told me he’s too busy to read charts and that’s why the service (simple tooth extraction) I paid for was not performed. I now have to pay another office to remove the tooth. The vet there tried to tell me he didn’t need it removed, but two other vets now have confirmed that he does. My CKC Spaniel is also very ill from his visit there. Bailey had to be rushed to the emergency room. He has blood in his stool, coughing, hasn’t eaten in two days, and is very lethargic. He’s now got a pocket of fluid in him, a shot, and antibiotics. Bailey will have to return to the emergency room if he goes without eating another day. The people there mean well, but it’s not a place to ever take your personal loved pet. They don’t read medical charts, the front desk doesn’t communicate with the Vet to explain the care needed, they see about 10 dogs an hour and overall not a safe environment. If you find a stray dog, take it there if they have room. It’s great they don’t kill them, but this is not a place to take your family pet for care. They’re too busy to be clean and give the proper care in those conditions. I hope not to offend, but I’m now out $300 because of their mistakes and I still have to take him to the vet again for his tooth extraction. I should have just paid Bansfield the $400 they wanted to extract it. It would have actually cost me less than what this did. My advice is to visit the place you are taking your family pet prior to making their appointment. I will never make that mistake again. My dog is too important to lose over a simple office visit.
They are the best by far in this whole area. The vet there is the best I've ever experienced, and Max and Della work harder than anyone I know. They bend over backwards to make accommodations for people, and their animals, we would not trust our animals to the care of any other place or vet like we do with them. We have been doing business with them for over 2 yrs and we have taken many animals to them, and they have all gotten the best care at the most reasonable prices you will find. I can not say enough great things about For the Love of Dogs. As long as they are there, they will be our go to vet for any other animals in our care, which includes those who have been abandoned, abused, neglected and forgotten ones in the shelters cats and dogs. God bless them, for all they do.
It's called "For the Love of Dogs" not "For the Love of people". If you are looking for great care for your dog, this is the place. If you're looking to be pampered yourself, go somewhere else. These people are wonderful for doing what they do. I don't give a rats ass how rude the owner may be. He is what he is. I respect this man for doing what he does.
