Richie's in my local car repair shop. The owner's are very nice and always treat me well. I don't prefer to visit them often, but when I do it's enjoyable. I've had oil changes, inspections and engine work done here. Highly recommend.
Job done quickly and as expected. I was driving through Wilson NC going to visit relatives. The CV joint on my car went out quickly and catastrophically. Had to pull the car over and have it towed. AAA said Richie's was approved, so I said fine. Dropped car off Sunday night. Now mind you, I am an engineer. I knew what the problem was and knew what it generally costs to fix. I knew the CV joint went out with the associate axle being fine. I told them what the issue was. They came in Monday morning, confirmed it. Went out, got the part, and I was back on the road by 10;30 am. Price was right in line with market. They did not gouge even though I was obviously from out of town. I would recommend them. They knew what they were doing, did not mess with me or try to oversell, fixed the car as requested, at a price that I knew was right in line.
My mother and G-ma have been taking our cars to Richie's for a long time. Ms. Shon and her staff always welcome us as family and they always make sure our cars are fixed and ready to get back on the road. I asked if I could do this review, because as a young man growing up today, having things or people you can count on are rare. NOT so at Richie's. They get us in and out of there, no matter what the issues are, fast and very friendly. If you ever need any work done. Richie's is the place to go!
